2. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule consultations

  • Prepare proposals, contracts, and invoices, and process payments

  • Deliver Services, including brand strategy, visual identity, and design work, sometimes with the help of AI tools as described in Section 4

  • Manage your client portal account and share project files

  • Send newsletters and marketing emails if you have subscribed

  • Measure and improve Site performance and our marketing, including advertising on Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Keep business, tax, and accounting records and meet legal obligations

  • Protect the security of the Site and prevent fraud or misuse

We do not use your personal information for purposes that are materially different from these without first telling you and, where required, getting your consent.

3. How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as described below.

Service providers. We use trusted third parties to run the Site and our business. They process information on our behalf and under their own privacy policies:

  • Wix.com (Wix Forms, Bookings, Email Marketing, Members, Analytics, Payments): website hosting, forms, scheduling, email marketing, client portal, analytics, and payments

  • Google (Calendar, Forms, Drive, Analytics, Tag Manager): scheduling, questionnaires, file storage, and Site analytics

  • Meta Platforms (Meta Pixel): advertising measurement and targeted advertising

  • Stripe and PayPal: payment processing

  • Your bank or payment app (Zelle, wire transfer, Wise): receiving payments you send us

  • Our mobile carrier and Wix Bookings SMS: text messages and appointment reminders

Contractors. Where a project requires it, we may share project information with vetted subcontractors (such as a video editor) who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.

Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or restructured, personal information may transfer to the new owner, who will be bound by this policy.

With your consent. We share information in other ways only with your permission.

We do not knowingly sell personal information or sensitive data. Third-party tools we use may collect information directly through the Site under their own policies, which we encourage you to review.

4. AI tools in our creative work

We use AI tools (for example, for writing, image generation, and design) in some, but not all, of our creative work. We limit what goes into these tools as follows:

  • Public information only. We may use publicly available information, such as a person's or business's name, published logos, website copy, public product photos, and other information already made public.

  • Never private or confidential information. We do not put private contact details (such as personal email, phone number, or home address), other private personal information, payment information, or confidential or unreleased client materials into AI tools.

  • Likeness only with written consent. We do not use a person's photo, face, or voice in AI tools unless that person gives written consent, and only to the extent approved. For example, consent to AI-generated images does not cover AI-generated video or audio.

  • Training opt-out. Where a provider offers the option, we turn off settings that let it train its models on our inputs. AI providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.

5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies. When you first visit, our cookie banner lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies, and you can change your choice at any time through the banner settings.

  • Essential cookies (Wix) keep the Site secure and working, including logins and forms. These cannot be turned off.

  • Analytics cookies (Wix Analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) help us understand how visitors use the Site.

  • Marketing cookies (Meta Pixel) measure the results of our ads and let us show ads to people who have visited the Site on Facebook and Instagram.

Targeted advertising opt-out. Using the Meta Pixel may count as "targeted advertising" under some state privacy laws. You can opt out by rejecting marketing cookies in our cookie banner, or by emailing atxglintstone@gmail.com with the subject "Opt Out of Targeted Advertising." You can also adjust your Meta ad preferences and use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Do Not Track. Browsers' "Do Not Track" signals do not have a common standard, so the Site does not currently respond to them. Your cookie banner choices are honored.

6. How we communicate with you

  • Email: replies to inquiries, project updates, invoices, and, if you subscribe, our newsletter. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Project and billing emails continue while we work together.

  • Text messages: we text clients from our business phone about active projects and send periodic appointment reminders. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or tell us you prefer email.

  • Phone: scheduled calls and follow-ups you request.

  • Postal mail: only for contracts or deliverables when needed.

We do not share your phone number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing.

7. Storage, security, and retention

The Site is hosted by Wix.com, which stores data on secure servers behind a firewall. Files shared through Google are stored in Google's cloud. We limit access to people who need it to do the work and use reasonable safeguards, such as two-factor login, to protect our accounts.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a data breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by Texas law and other applicable state laws.

We keep client records, contracts, project files, and payment records for the length of the project plus seven (7) years, to meet tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Newsletter subscribers stay on our list until they unsubscribe. After the retention period, we securely delete or anonymize the information.

Your information is stored and processed in the United States.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on the state you live in (including Texas, California, and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct inaccurate information

  • Delete your personal information

  • Get a copy of your information in a portable format

  • Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal information, and profiling

  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, such as for emails or texts

We extend these choices to all US visitors, any 50 states and territories you reside in or conduct regular business in.

How to make a request. Email atxglintstone@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy Request - [Date] " and tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask for information to verify your identity. You may use an authorized agent, who must show written permission from you. We will respond within 45 days, and let you know if we need an extra 45 days.

Appeals. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with the subject "Privacy Appeal." We will respond within 60 days. If you are unhappy with the result, you may contact your state attorney general (in Texas, the Office of the Attorney General).

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. Some information may need to be kept for legal or tax reasons, such as invoices and contracts during the retention period in Section 7.

9. Portfolio use

We feature client work, names, logos, and/or testimonials in our portfolio, website, and/or social media only with the client's written permission. You may withdraw that permission for future use at any time by emailing us. We will respond within 45 days, and let you know if we need an extra 45 days.

10. Age requirement

The Site and Services are intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site may link to other websites and social media platforms. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If we make material changes, we will notify clients and subscribers by email or with a notice on the Site before the changes take effect.
